The 15th Asia Pacific Forum for Graduate Students Research in Tourism
Undergraduate Student Best Research Paper Awards
Further to the TRiNet announcement on Thursday, 10th September, 2015, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s School of Hotel & Tourism Management (SHTM) is hosting the 15th Asia Pacific Forum for Graduate Students Research in Tourism and the 2nd Global Tourism & Hospitality Conference from 16-18 May 2016.
To foster high quality research from undergraduate students, the SHTM is offering three Undergraduate Student Best Research Paper Awards for Undergraduate Students at the 15th Asia Pacific Forum for Graduate Students Research in Tourism (APF) to be held at Hotel ICON, a state-of-the-art teaching and research hotel of SHTM, PolyU (www.hotel-icon.com).
The Undergraduate Student Best Research Paper Award is open to all Undergraduate students with up to one co-author (the co-author can be a faculty member). The Undergraduate student must be the first author. To be eligible for the Awards, only full papers will be considered.
Prizes
1st Prize: Return airfare to Hong Kong, three nights’ accommodation at Hotel ICON and Conference registration fee.
1st Runner-up: Three nights’ accommodation at Hotel ICON and Conference registration fee.
2nd Runner-up: Conference registration fee.

Submission Information

Manuscripts of between 4,000 and 7,000 words (typed, single-spaced, 12-point, Times New Roman font) should be submitted for the final award selection process.

Please indicate the author’s name and affiliation only on the cover page of the abstract and they should not be indicated anywhere in the paper.

A Best Paper Review Committee will conduct a refereed review of the full papers submitted.

Once the paper is accepted, at least one of the authors must register for and present the paper at APF.
