Optional Dinner with Speakers

Chef Bjoern Alexander

German born Chef Bjoern Alexander is not a stranger to Michelin Stars. His career has been highlighted with time spent at the 3-Michelin Star SchlosshotelBensberg with Joachim Wissler and 3- Michelin Star French Laundry with Thomas Keller. In 2008, his hard work, talent and passion were rewarded with his own one Michelin Star at Gabriele Restaurant in Berlin, Germany. In 2008 and 2009 respectively, his skills were recognized with nominations for Best Newcomer Chef and Chef of the Year in Berlin.

Chef Bjoern was the Chef de Cuisine at Al Muntaha Restaurant in the spectacular Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai prior to making Hong Kong his home in 2011, where he introduced his award-winning style of modern innovative cuisine to the East.

Chef Bjoern’s philosophy is more than just cooking. It’s about heart, passion and respect. His reputation for extracting exquisite colours and textures from the ingredients he uses, then turning them into show- stopping pieces of edible art, is inspired.

TWENTY SIX by Liberty

TWENTY SIX by Liberty is a “26-seat” chef’s-table experience restaurant, located on the “26 Floor” of Stanley 11 in Central. Helmed by Chef Bjoern Alexander, TWENTY SIX by Liberty offers a modern innovative Chef degustation dinner in an open-kitchen setting. The “Life of Tree” menu is presented through three stages–Young Sprouts, The Branches and The Roots–the elements of the tree that are the foundation of Chef Bjoern’s innovate food principle. While watching the culinary team skillfully at work in the open kitchen, diners would be entertained with a face-to-face personal interaction with the Chef. The urban loft-like ambience of TWENTY SIX by Liberty is complemented by the ‘lounge’ soundtracks that might remind diners of the chilled atmosphere of many Berlin eateries. The hand-painted murals on exposed brick columns offer a subtle distraction from the penthouse panoramas of the city surrounding the restaurant through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
